Axial length measurement · OculusMyopia Master®
Refraction, axial length and keratometry in a single device
The Myopia Master® can do more than just monitor myopia: it is the first device to combine the key parameters for myopia management (refraction, axial length and keratometry) within a single myopia software package. This combination of measurements enables personalised advice and treatment, making the early detection of myopia and its progression easier and more reliable than ever before. Other risk factors, such as ethnicity, heredity, frequent close-up work and a lack of outdoor activities, also influence eye growth and should therefore be taken into account from the outset in children.
Myopia management with growth monitoring
With the ‘ OCULUS ’ myopia software
Keeping an eye on eye growth –
For visible treatment success
Regular monitoring of eye growth is essential for successful myopia management. The OCULUS myopia software at Myopia Master® shows eye growth in detail and makes the success of treatment visible.
1. The annual growth rate is calculated and displayed based on measurements taken within the range shown.
2. Showcase successful treatment outcomes with various Ortho-K lenses.
Using the GRAS module (Gullstrand analysis)
It has never been so easy or so reliable to interpret measurement results as it is with the OCULUS myopia software at Myopia Master®. The reason: all individually measured refractive components of the eye are automatically compared with the ‘Gullstrand standard eye’. This means you always have the comparison with the gold standard at a glance. Not only does this save time, it also provides the ideal basis for explaining the results to customers or patients.
Best of all: OCULUS has adapted the Gullstrand Eye for children, thereby offering additional safety for this important target group too.
Questions to be answered:
- What does the refraction value consist of?
- Is there critical axial length myopia?
- Is this a system error or a display error?
- Where does each fault occur within the eye as a whole?
