Phoropter · NidekAutomatic phoropter Nidek RT-6100
Refraction like never before
With its 40° field of view, the RT-6100 automatic phoropter provides a near-natural visual experience.
The pre-installed tests and programmes are intuitive to use and enable a quick eye test.
Of course, you can also apply prismatic corrections and fit linear polarising filters. Do you work with circular polarisation? The filters are available as optional extras.
RT-6100 automatic phoropter for subjective lens prescription
Easy to use: user-friendly and intuitive
The modern touchscreen offers intuitive operation.
To ensure the display always looks neat, simply use the touch pen supplied.
The tactile buttons on the control panel are arranged logically, so that you can carry out the refraction steps with one hand without looking at the display.
Elegance meets precision
The slim phoropter impresses with its streamlined design. Behind this striking design lies state-of-the-art technology: the quiet and rapid lens change ensures a comfortable refraction experience for the patient. The integrated anti-fog lenses ensure a smooth refraction process.
Simultaneous display of two coil configurations
“Is lens one or lens two better?” – “Can I have a look at the first one again?” You’ll no longer need to ask these questions in future with the RT-6100. The automatic cross-cylinder function offers both spiral positions simultaneously during cylinder and axis alignment. You save time and it makes the decision easier for the patient.
Assess contrast sensitivity
Measure visual acuity under various contrast conditions: 100 per cent, 25 per cent, 12.5 per cent and 6 per cent **
You can also use the RT-6100 for near vision testing
When you switch from distance to near testing, the phoropter automatically adjusts its convergence and the pupillary distance is adjusted. For optimum visibility, the clear, white LED lighting illuminates the near chart. Now measure the addition.
The binocular status for near vision
You can also use the control panel in conjunction with measuring glasses. The large LCD screen is swivelling. Demonstrate the integrated near vision tests on the screen to your patient to determine their near vision performance and binocular status for near vision. By using red/green filters, you will obtain an accurate refraction result.
Highest standards for all staff
Customisable programmes can be used by all staff to ensure a standardised refraction process. Information on the application, test objectives and interpretation can be displayed for each test. This ensures that every step of the refraction process is transparent.
