The Topcon FR-50 Frame Reader is a precise automatic tracer for digitally capturing spectacle frames and lens shapes. The device reliably traces frame geometry in three dimensions and transfers the resulting shape data to compatible lens edging systems. Automatic frame clamping and the gentle tracing mechanism ensure high measurement accuracy and prevent delicate frames from becoming distorted. Shape templates and pattern lenses can also be traced using the appropriate holders.

The device on offer comes from a demonstration environment and is in as-new condition. It is compatible with all Topcon lens edging systems from the 5100-Serie and is supplied with, among other things, a tracer for shape templates.
