Optotype projectors · NidekOptotype projector Nidek CP 9 EF Typ T (Snellen)
The CP-9 EF represents the evolution of tried-and-tested systems: as the successor to the successful CP-770 EF/CP-770, it boasts a range of new technical features.
Modelled on modern on-screen vision testing equipment, the CP-9 EF vision chart projector projects its test fields using light similar to daylight white. The projector’s sleek design is also impressive: its stylish anthracite finish against a classic white background blends perfectly into a modern refraction room.
Nidek CP-9 EF G-type vision symbol projector with Landolt rings
Performance
The CP-9 EF vision chart projector uses white LED light and offers stable, consistent brightness, ensuring reliable test results. The bright white colour of the backlight is modelled on that of a modern screen-based vision tester and provides high-contrast display of the optotypes.
The device is maintenance-free; no lamp replacement is required.
T-type with Snellen hook
Alternatively, the CP-9 EF is also available in a T-type version. Among other binocular tests, this version features Snellen hooks instead of Landolt ring test fields.
