Unobstructed-view device for the programme-controlled examination of twilight visual acuity and glare sensitivity
The Mesotest® II is a device for testing twilight vision and sensitivity to glare.
The assessment of twilight vision and sensitivity to glare is an important supplementary test to daytime visual acuity, particularly when assessing fitness for night-time driving and during occupational health fitness examinations.
A pre- and post-operative assessment of twilight visual acuity and glare sensitivity is also recommended for patients undergoing intraocular lens surgery or refractive surgery, as well as when prescribing tinted spectacle lenses.

The OCULUS Mesotest® II
The Mesotest® II is a standardised device, recognised by the DOG, for testing twilight vision and glare sensitivity in accordance with the Driving Licence Regulations, and complies with DIN 58220 Part 7.
PD-independent
The device is designed such that the results are independent of differences in patients’ interpupillary distances.
Portable
This compact device weighs just 7.8 kg and is easy to carry in its carrying case.
Variable control
The equipment can be controlled either via a handheld unit or from a PC or laptop. When operating the Mesotest® II using a PC or laptop, patient data and examination results can be printed out and managed.
