Vertex refractometer Nidek LM-1800 P

The keratometers in the ‘ LM-1800 P ’ range from NIDEK operate on the wavefront measurement principle using a Hartmann sensor.
Progressive lenses, in particular, can be measured with absolute ease, reliability and speed.
Automatic progressive lens recognition
When a lens is placed on the device, it immediately recognises whether it is a varifocal lens
and automatically switches to a special progressive lens measurement programme.
Touchscreen
Tiltable 5.7-inch high-resolution colour screen (640 x 480 pixels).
Intuitive operation via the touchscreen. The measurement is taken within 60 ms.
This direct and rapid response from the device, combined with the high resolution of the screen, makes taking measurements extremely convenient.
Measurement of transmittance for UV light and visible light
The quality of sunglasses in terms of UV transmission can be checked very easily –
even when compared to other lenses.
New measurement options for varifocal lenses
The LM-1800 series refractometers are leaders in terms of function, design and quality.
For the first time, a vertex refractometer makes it possible to determine whether and to what extent varifocal lenses have been trimmed due to the size of the frames.
