The Easyfield® C
OCULUS Easyfield® C was designed for combined use as a screening device with full perimetric capabilities for the immediate follow-up examination of suspicious findings. The Easyfield® is recommended for all standard examinations of the central visual field up to 30°, whilst fully maintaining Goldmann standards. The device is available in two models: the Easyfield® S ‘Standard’ and the Easyfield® C ‘Comfort’ with an adjustable double chin rest.
Ergonomic design
The Easyfield® C stands out above all for its extremely compact design. Its enclosed construction and light-shielded viewing window allow examinations to be carried out even in normally lit rooms. A separate darkroom is no longer required for perimetry. The robust and lightweight Easyfield® is perfectly suited to mobile use and promises a long service life and, consequently, a long operational lifespan.
Ease of use
The Easyfield® C perimeter can be controlled from an external computer (laptop or PC). On the computer, you have access to the familiar user interface of the OCULUS programmes and enjoy complete freedom in networking the examination data. The use of translucent Easyfield® occluders enables examinations to be carried out without the usual eye patch, thereby saving valuable time during examination preparation.
The examination programmes
The ‘ Easyfield® C ’ offers predefined programmes for frequently required examination routines. These involve measurements of the central visual field or the macular area. The range of these programmes can be expanded as required by linking available examination grids and test strategies.
Increased diagnostic reliability
The diagnostic value of perimetric examinations carried out using the Easyfield® perimeter is enhanced by additional procedures. Monitoring the patient’s eye via the camera image increases the reliability of the findings; the Glaucoma Staging System (GSS 2) developed by Dr Brusini and the Glaucoma Staging Programme (GSP) expert system provide valuable support in analysing the findings. Efficient progression analysis is carried out using the Threshold Noiseless Trend (TNT) method.
