Oculus Keratograph 5M

The ‘ Keratograph 5M ’ guide takes you step by step
Find the cause of dry eye quickly and reliably, or fit contact lenses easily and professionally: the Dry Eye Screening provides comprehensive measurement results in just 5 minutes. You can use these to diagnose dry eye.
Thanks to the integrated contact lens database and the simulation of fluorescein images, the Keratograph 5M helps you choose your first pair of contact lenses. You can also easily detect and classify irregular corneas and various stages of keratoconus using the Keratograph 5M. Furthermore, the keratograph can be used to analyse the tear film, classify the degree of redness and perform meibography of the upper and lower eyelids.

Contact lens fitting – safe and quick
For your day-to-day work, the automatic measurement trigger on the Keratograph 5M is not only a huge help. It also offers you peace of mind – because your measurement results are reproducible at all times and extremely accurate. Take advantage of a feature that other topographers do not offer.

JENVIS Pro Dry Eye Report (TF-Scan, R-Scan, Meibo-Scan): Screening and consultation combined
Identify the cause of dry eye quickly and reliably. The JENVIS Pro Dry Eye Report in the Keratograph 5M helps you do just that. Carry out a comprehensive screening and use the measurement results as the basis for diagnosing dry eye. All results are documented in accordance with MPG guidelines and summarised clearly in an easy-to-understand printout for the customer/patient.
Topography: Fast, precise, easy to understand
The Keratograph 5M features not only topography and topographic keratoconus screening, but also a comprehensive contact lens database and numerous analyses for daily practice. Benefit from the integrated keratometer and automatic measurement triggering, which guarantee you the highest measurement accuracy and reproducibility.
OxiMap®: Visualising the oxygen permeability of soft contact lenses
An intact tear film and a good supply of oxygen to the cornea are essential for wearing contact lenses comfortably. The OxiMap® displays the oxygen permeability of soft contact lenses in different colours depending on their dioptric power and is easy to understand – even for your customers/patients.
The oxygen permeability of soft contact lenses is an important quality criterion. It is specified as the Dk/t value and has a significant influence on the recommended wearing time. The higher the Dk/t value, the more oxygen passes through the contact lens to the cornea. Oxygen permeability varies depending on the material and dioptric power of the contact lens. Until now, only the manufacturer’s specifications for oxygen permeability at the centre of a contact lens with a power of -3.00 dpt were known. The OxiMap® in the Keratograph 5M visualises the Dk/t values across the entire surface for the first time, depending on the contact lens power. You select the lens type and the corresponding power. The OxiMap® is projected onto your customer’s or patient’s eye. This allows you to see immediately whether the selected lens is suitable for overnight wear, for example. Demonstrate the added value of modern contact lenses to your customer or patient!
Image documentation: Build trust
To monitor progress, it is necessary to compare examinations with one another. This allows you to easily identify changes and document them comprehensively. Regular check-ups give you peace of mind and strengthen the relationship of trust with your customers/patients. The keratograph software combines data and image documentation.
Compare examinations 2, 3 and 4
The ‘Compare 4 examinations’ display illustrates changes over a specific period, e.g. the
progressive course of keratoconus. Choose between sagittal or tangential curvature,
Data on height or refractive power. To carry out a right/left or before/after comparison, use the ‘Compare 2 examinations’ display. With these easy-to-understand visualisations, you can explain even complex concepts to your customers/patients in just a few words!
