SLT contact lens with a high-contrast reference marking in the contact area. The marking makes it easier to estimate a 45° section of the trabecular meshwork and helps guide laser spot placement.
The marking, displayed at approximately 5 mm wide, can also be used to estimate the size of chamber angle structures. The laser spot magnification factor of 1,0× maintains the spot size; the angled front lens surface helps produce a circular beam profile.
