The new OCULUS ImageCam ® 3 is klein – but not when it comes to performance. In everyday practice, this means: it’s barely noticeable, is very easy to fit and delivers images like no other in this size category.
Thanks to the high-resolution digital USB 3.0 video camera, you can even record videos at up to 130 frames per second. This allows you to conveniently document the entire slit-lamp examination and then simply select the best images. All you need to do is highlight and crop the relevant images. Thanks to the additional video compression, this can be done without any loss of quality and without taking up too much time. This is convenient and gives you added peace of mind.
The ImageCam® 3, with its superior image quality, is one of the smallest and lightest systems in the world and has been specially developed for applications in medical technology and microscopy. The beam splitter in the Imagecam® 3 features, amongst other things, a purely mechanical iris diaphragm, which significantly increases the depth of field.

Continuous shooting – capturing the right moment in focus
The eye, with its rapid movements, presents a challenging subject for photography. Motion blur and camera shake are typical image flaws. Continuous shooting with the ImageCam® 3 helps you to avoid these flaws and capture the eye during one of its pauses in movement.
Exposure series with increasing exposure times
Correctly assessing the exposure of slit-lamp images is difficult due to the eye’s ability to adapt to light and dark. The ImageCam® 3 automatically adjusts the exposure time for you. Choose the image with the best exposure from the 5 available.
Combine the ImageCam® 3 with your OCULUS keratograph
The ‘ ImageCam® 3 ’ software can be linked to the Keratograph software. Compare simulated fluorescein images from the OCULUS Keratograph with the actual fluorescein images you have taken using the slit lamp.
