Autoref keratometer · NidekAutorefracto-keratometer Nidek ARK-1
The ARK-1 from OCULUS/NIDEK impresses with its high reproducibility of measurement values and ease of use.
The ARK-1 operates on the principle of the fundus reflex method, which analyses a measurement area of up to 6 mm. The data obtained in this way is very close to the subjective refraction.
All autorefractometers and autorefracto-keratometers can be connected via the ‘ NIDEK ’ data network to the RT-2100, RT-3100, RT-5100 and RT-6100 automatic phoropters. Connection to standard practice and optician software is possible via the serial interface.
Autorefracto-keratometer for the automatic determination of objective refraction, central radii and peripheral radii based on the sagittal radius measurement principle.
Highlights
- Automatic centring in the Y-direction
- Automatic measurement trigger
- Measurement of central and peripheral radii according to the sagittal radius measurement principle
- Swivelling colour LCD screen
- Automatic measurement window check
- One-handed operation
- Reliability information for each measurement
- Measurement of the PD, corneal diameter and pupil diameter
- Smallest measurable pupil diameter: 2 mm
- Built-in printer with automatic paper trimming
- Measurement of the photopen and mesopen pupil diameters
Excellent measurement accuracy across the entire pupil
The measurements for the 3.5 mm and 6 mm areas are determined and compared simultaneously. They thus provide insight into differences in refraction under photopic and mesopic conditions.
